Mercer’s Global Head of Investment Research, Deb Clarke has been named in the 2014 FN100 Most Influential Women in Finance list, compiled by Financial News. The list showcases the most influential female executives working in the financial services industry across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The final list was decided by the Financial News editorial team following extensive canvassing of market opinion on over 300 nominees. Candidates were assessed on their influence and leadership over their companies and market sector, as well as on their performance over the past year and their career to date.
“It is an honour to be recognised amongst some of the most respected names within the industry. This list highlights the remarkable achievements of women working within finance. Whilst the field of finance is predominantly male, I hope this recognition encourages the next generation of talented women to succeed” said Ms Clarke. “I find it inspiring to be part of a company that appreciates the importance of cultivating a diverse workforce.”
Prior to joining Mercer (2005), Ms Clarke worked as a fund manager for over 20 years.
